We knew Nokia is planning to bring it's HERE Maps to Android, also Nokia previously announced it's plans to release a version only for Samsung devices at start.
The app being in beta, also Samsung devices haven't received the navigation app, somebody managed to leak APK and unsurprisingly, it works on any Android device running 4.0 and above!
And trust me, Nokia HERE Maps is a perfect navigation app, I've personally tested the app (on Lumia) vs Google Maps and results were similar. That surprised me as I really underestimated the power of Nokia! It has all the features, including turn by turn voice navigation but also has unique feature where you can download maps for entire cities, which can then be used offline or in areas with no network.
The APK is still in beta so no doubt it might have some bugs but if it’s worth a try, or showing off to those Lumia friends who boasted abt their "HERE maps" in my case!

Update : (Solution to "This version has expired")
*some people had problem downloading the file, so comment your email if and I'll send you the apk
**the file was set to expiration on 1st of October, so if you want to use the maps, simply set your a phone to a date previous to that date (29th/30th Sep works)
